Films for companies, businesses and community groups, including youth groups.
Some stories don’t get told.
Not because they lack significance, but because no one has taken the time to tell them properly.
We work with organisations to change that. Using film and collaborative storytelling, we help capture the experiences of people and communities that are often overlooked.
The work is careful, trust-led, and built around the people whose stories are at its centre.
What the work makes possible
Every community has stories worth telling. We work with organisations to find them, develop them, and bring them to life through film.
Our projects suit any context where voices matter: a community whose experience has gone unheard, a team whose identity deserves to be captured, an organisation that wants to understand itself more clearly. Whatever the setting, the approach is the same. Create the space, listen properly, and trust that something real will come.
Real benefits, for everyone involved
The film making format uncovers perspectives that are rarely heard, challenges assumptions, and opens up conversations. Organisations are involved throughout, keeping the work rooted in what matters to them.
Communities are left with honest stories that strengthen relationships and shared identity.

Our workshops help people find, shape and tell their own stories, using film as a way in. No experience needed. Often, the phone in your pocket is all it takes.
A workshop can be a single day, or a full programme where your group makes a short film together.
We’ll shape it around your group.
Thinking about a documentary or a longer community film, like our work with Brighton & Hove Council?
We’ll work with you from the very first conversation.
Council Tenant Stories Project: commissioned by Brighton & Hove Council’s Community Engagement Team.
Council tenants are often talked about. Rarely are they given space to speak for themselves.
Brighton & Hove Council’s Community Engagement Team wanted to change that. They commissioned Head to the Sky to capture real voices and real community life: people who felt proud of where they lived and wanted that reflected back.
The film challenged stigma, strengthened relationships, and started conversations that mattered.
The positive impact on tenants was a direct result of feeling seen.
That is what good storytelling does.
